Happy Easter

Well, today has been a very fun day. It started with lunch and an Easter egg hunt with friends and then finished with dyeing easter eggs. We had such a good time.

So Garrison has this list of "friends". I really have no idea what a "friend" means to him but his list is very specific. In fact, there are only 5 people on this list.

1. Clayton (a boy from his special ed class)
2. Whitney Gilmore (an adorable girl from church)
3. Mrs. Mckenney (his special education teacher)
4. Natalie (his baby sister)
5. Mommy

Not even daddy is on his list. I do not know what you have to do to get on this list but anytime you ask who his friends are, this is what he will tell you. So this morning, I am dropping him off at school and as he is getting out of the van he says "bye mommy. I love you. You my friend."

Folks, it doesn't get much better than that. I love that I am on my sons very specific and small list of friends. Son, you are my friend too!!!!

BABY SHOWER FOR BECKIE GILMORE!!!

Hey everyone in Lakeview ward!!!!! Beckie Gilmore and her family are moving next weekend and will be getting custody of their 2 nephews. The problem is, since Rich and Beckie have 4 girls, these 2 boys will have no toys unless they go and spend a lot of money to get them some. So...I (with Rayette's help) will be throwing her a shower next Wednesday. That is Wednesday the 19th at 10:00. We will have it at the church. She needs toys either new or gently used. Their ages are 2 and 5. They like all of the typical boy stuff. Trains, cars, trucks, dinosaurs...you get the idea. If you can come, please let me know and help to spread the word. I will have invites to hand out on Sunday but that will be pretty short notice for a lot of people so if you can tell others, that would be great. Just tell people to call me and let me know. They have the wrong number in the directory. Thanks everyone and we hope you are all there!!!!

NOT AGAIN!!!!

First off, I am from Arizona and lived there for 25 years and we did just fine with never, ever having to change our clocks so why does everyone else feel they have to? I have such a hard time with the time change. Especially with a little baby. I am sitting here listening to all 3 of my older children laying in their beds talking to each other even though it is 11:15 because they took a nap at their normal bed time because we were taking Daddy to the airport. Now, they are wide awake. So frustrating. I am sure it is going to be a long couple of nights until we get back into the swing of things. Whoever came up with this grand idea never had small children. Okay, I am off of my soap box now.

I came up stairs to find that the girls had been playing dress up with Natalie. My heart exploded with love for my three adorable girls!!!!

Rachel said "Mommy, will you take a picture of me with my towel on my head and put it on your blog?" So, here you go Rachel. You look so grown up!!! I love you!!!! (She put the towel on her head all by herself!!!!)
