So the pine wood derby is next week. Garrison really has no idea what that even is but each year we try very hard to get him to help in making the car. This year, Buddy came up with the idea to do a "Yoshi" car. Yoshi is a character off of the Nintendo Wii game MarioKart. He actually did a great job in helping this year. When they did the weigh-in the other night, all of the boys LOVED his car. We are excited for the race this Wednesday.

That is a sweet looking car. Drake's is looking rough right now. After our Ward's Derby he raced his at the playground and it got some dings. He can't decide if he wants to do the district race or not.

THat car is the cutest thing I have ever seen ( and that kiddo is too!). I hope the race went well and he had a great time.
what a good idea... i'm glad he helped out! our pinewood derby is coming up too.. maybe we'll actually make cars this time.. we should get together again sometime!
